Hello!

I’m a software developer who’s been coding for about five years. In my previous career, I was a laboratory scientist; the critical thinking and my love of computers attracted me to software development.

I picked up programming as a hobby; I wanted to build my own food science blog. I got distracted along the way and dived deep into learning JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Now I work full-time as a professional software developer after a big career transition.

I chose to create this blog to share what I’m building, what I’m learning, and the mistakes I make along the way. I’ll mostly write about Go, since that’s where my interests lie. There may be a few redesigns for this blog as I attempt to find what works best for me.
